I’m enjoying these, trying to help me in a CSA play through. I don’t know how but you don’t seem to face the size/power of union armies that I do. I’m facing 3-5k power armies by end of September and they steamroll over everything.

Just for reference, when you are talking about the strategic effects you say that “because you have 5/13, you get these effects and as you go up you’ll get more effects” That isn’t true, you won’t get those effects at all until all conditions are met.

The Corps commander can get eliminated, but it takes some time (because of low chance?) to do it. Once an enemy's general got stuck in a wide river. And he didn't make the cross.

This video and the video about army composition made me get back into CK2 again! The videos I have watched basically say to have a larger army than your opponent. Nothing is mentioned of what you cover in these videos. Thank you so much for these tutorials!

Here is a tip, if you have trouble staying in a game join a game that 5 days have past. This will allow you to see who quit and the country is now available. Try to pick one that the surrounding country’s are also AI. This will able you to grow without worrying who’s going to attack. Also as you grow you can take over the other’s around you without much effort

One question does the mod let you play after 1450+ or does it stop? For example I want to recreate the Ottoman Empire but the game will end does this mod let you go further?

Not a great tutorial video for day 1 players... Just a opinion. A humble suggestion. Start with the absolute basics day 1 info. For example... What should I build 1st and why 2nd and why and so on.. I'm a gamer so I get building resources and units.. Example Supremacy 1914. The 1st thing is a recruitment center then focus on resources then upgraded weapons.. I hope no disrespect was shown. I think it's really cool you even took the time to help. It just seems you kinda started in the middle and worked backwards. Again thank you for giving up your time to help... Does anyone know how to change the message settings? I am playing a game as the UK. It's mid war and I was having a blast but when I try and change the message settings I get a CTD when I try and save the changes. Almost every message related to combat is set to pop up and pause the game. There are so many air, land and naval battles going in that the game stops constantly to the point it is almost unplayable. It will pause with a dozen messages popping up at once. I go through and look at them and clear them out, then hit play and the game immediately pauses again with a screen full of messages. I'd really like to turn some of them off.

At 36min you discuss convoy raiding- isnt there a notification when a fleet discovers a heavily defended convoy (with escorts) and cant attack?

I just downloaded the game and I was wondering can I just play against the AI or solo play

A good videos series :-) just FYI some perks are bugged and have never been fixed as the game is no longer in dev. (quote) "Brigade Logistics (arty) perk and Commander Strategy" perk are bugged They effectively don't work. Anytime the game loads the bonus gets lost. The perks increase the starting ammo of the artillery unit or all units in the corps respectively(again up until load, so don't use these." google "Ultimate General Civil War ammo bug" and u will find discussions on the topic on steam and game labs forums. There are mods that have fixes/workarounds for some of these (the UI and AI Customizations Mod V1.9.2 is one such mod, u can find with google on forums )

How do I get troops it won't let me make any troops what im I doing wrong. I researched tanks so how would I make tanks? Im struggling making troops.

Brother you didnt mention level 3 radar did you?? Detects infantry. I usually start research day 10/11 and then level 2 so right at day 14 im ready to get it to level 3
